Erena started her legal career as a corporate finance legal assistant at Shearman & Sterling in New York, a corporate law firm with more than two thousand attorneys worldwide. After working there for a year, she went on to attend New York law school in lower Manhattan.
While in law school, she worked for a criminal law judge at the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan, the Coalition for an International Criminal Court at the United Nations Headquarters building in New York, and she had the rare opportunity of working at the United Nation’s International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, which sits in The Hague, The Netherlands.
After law school, she accepted a position as a Project Development and Finance Junior Associate at White & Case, in their Moscow, Russia office. White & Case is the third-largest firm in the world, and the biggest law office in Moscow, Russia. She also participated in the American Bar Association’s Central and Eastern European Law Project, helping to shape the Russian legal system.
Upon returning to the United States in 2004, she moved to Arizona and founded her own law firm, Baybik Law Group, P.C. The firm initially handled immigration law cases, but now focuses exclusively on family law.
